amazing effort by the team yet again! our care the best care activities there is a member of staff dedicated to providing and supporting residents with meaningful and enjoyable activities 5 days per week. these currently include arts and crafts, games and quizzes, reminiscence sessions and events with professional entertainers. she can help maintain interests outside of the home too. we welcome visitors into the home from all faith denominations. staff more than 60 staff work together as a team to ensure the residents needs are met. this includes providing tasty wholesome meals, ensuring the home is clean and well maintained, that laundry is attended to with care as well as personal & nursing care. the home owner has more than 30 years care home management experience. many staff have worked at the home for more than 5 years, some have stayed for more than 25 years! services we have a weekly visit from a professional hairdresser, appointments can be made for specific events at other times. there are regular scheduled visits from a named optician, dentist and foot care assistant. private arrangements can be made with other providers of these services if preferred. there are facilities for bathing and showering which are accessible to all. there are areas for quiet private time both indoors and outdoors. few more points... features free wi-fi available throughout the home allowing access to such applications as apple’s facetime, skype and media streaming. this also facilitates our cloud based care management recording system. peaceful area there are spaces both inside and out for privacy with family and friends or for solitude when you need a quiet moment. hearing loops a hearing loop is available for individual use to ensure the enjoyment of tv & radio for those who are hard of hearing. fresh daily cooking all our menus are changed to reflect the seasons. sample menu space all of our lounges and dining areas are welcoming and comfortable, our two dining areas are bright yet calm with lots of natural daylight and lead out onto safe garden space. there are tables and seating in all garden areas. smart care we are not texting! the device is what we use to update our care records using nourish, a cloud based care management system, looks just like a mobile phone. smart care management we use a smart ‘cloud based’ electronic care management system feedback what do others think?
